ABOUT

Hi! My name is Einat. I pronounce it A- not. like Tying a knot :) I was born in Haifa, Israel. It's a sister city to San Fransisco, because of the mountain views combined with the beaches. But without the homeless people:) My mom always wanted me to be a doctor. I am waiting for that role to come so I can take a picture with my Doc robe and frame it for her. I was so shy as a kid, I couldn't imagine I can Ever be on stage.

18 years old, I was drafted to The Israeli Defense Force Army as an Air Traffic Controller in the prestigious Israeli Air Force. Basically, I could make planes crash if I wasn't concentrated. That's probably the most important thing I will ever do in my life and the reason why I memorize scripts pretty fast.

After the army service, I studied Film and Tv at Tel Aviv University because watching the screen was my whole life. While I was pursuing my BA I worked as a bartender in the busiest club in Tel Aviv. 2000 people a night! For the first time in my life I had a stage and I liked it. It gave me confidence and made me interact with more people than ever before.

After I graduated I started working as a casting assistant in a few Israeli TV shows. I watched actors create their audition and I was taken by their braveness, truthfulness and vulnerability. I soon realized I wanted to be in their shoes. 2 weeks later I got a scholarship for Circle in the Square Musical Theater summer workshop. A month later I woke up in my dream city saying Thank you god! and I love life!

It took me and my physiologist 1.5 years to convince my husband to move with me to NYC to pursue this career. We moved to NY 9 years ago and I studied at AMDA in The Musical Theater program.

Coming out of school I Performed Off Broadway and Shot Features, a TV show in Israel.  and a few commercials. I also teach On Camera Classes for actors and write my own series. But lets face it, My greatest joy comes  from raising my 2 beautiful girls. I love life and am excited to be living.
